Your details, kept simple.

This site collects only what you type into the waitlist or profile form. Here is what we do with it.

Who we are

Shopover is operated by Valis Advisory AB, Sweden, which decides how your details are used (the data controller). Contact: hello@shopover.app.

What we collect

Your email address; where you are travelling to next; your country of residence if you choose it; your answers to the optional survey; the campaign link you arrived from (for example a social post); and the date you joined. If you create a profile, we also keep your first name (optional), the interests you tick, and whether you agreed to the newsletter. We do not collect your location or payment details.

Why, and on what basis

To write to you when Shopover is ready for your trip, and to decide which routes and features to build first. We rely on your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist and can withdraw at any time. We send launch emails and, if you tick the newsletter box on your profile, the newsletter and guides that match your interests, and nothing else. Every email can be answered with a request to stop.

Where it is kept, and for how long

On the web server of our hosting provider, Miss Hosting. We keep your details until the app has launched and for up to twelve months after, or until you ask us to remove them. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser keeps a copy of your entry so the page can show that you have joined.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or to withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@shopover.app. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, or to your own data protection authority.

Prototype

The test version of the app at shopover.app/app/ keeps its data on your own device. We do not receive it.
